"You'll see it when you believe it." - Dr. Wayne Dyer
I had to read this quote a few times before I understood it. It’s the opposite of what most of us are told—that we should believe it only after we see it. But to actually harness the law of attraction in your life, you must believe it first.
“Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.” - Henry Ford
You truly are only limited in your life by what you believe is possible. Once you realize that, everything changes.
Believing is deciding that what you want will absolutely happen. And, acting as if it has already happened. Instead of waiting in anticipation and anxiety. You are relaxed. Sure. Calm. Confident. You go about your day with certainty—knowing that what you want is headed your way. Maybe, imagine that you have a guarantee that what you desire is 100% headed your way. How would that make you feel? What would you start doing differently? Now, feel that way now and start acting as if your dreams are in the works and guaranteed to become your reality.
Why? Because the opposite will only attract more of what you don’t want. Anxiety. Impatience. Discontentment. Worry. Those emotions will only delay what you are seeking.
Appreciate What You Have & Where You Are Right NOW
Sometimes it will feel hard to act as if something good is headed your way when your current circumstances are difficult. One of the most powerful ways to move past worry, anxiety, fear, and other negative emotions connected to where you are right now is to be grateful for and appreciate where you are in this moment. What IS going right this very moment? Maybe it is as simple as being thankful for being alive. For having food. Shelter. Or, perhaps you can be grateful for the lessons you're learning during this time of struggle.
To get where you are going, you have to be grateful for where you are right now. Contentment, joy and happiness is not one goal or one purchase or one trip or one job away. It is possible to find those positive emotions today—to find them within yourself. Your joy is not contingent on your circumstance.
Be grateful for today and believe that tomorrow will be even better.
